My two year old talks to spiders on the ceiling

Okay. So we were sitting in the kitchen just hanging out and my two year old(Mikel) starts pointing at the ceiling. There is a spider up there. So I say "ew.bug" and what does he say in response? "MINE" and starts reaching. Then he picks up a little marble off the centerpiece holds it up and starts talking to the darn thing. After awhile he somewhat gave up, said "bye bye" and waved at it as it crawled across the ceiling.

Not sure if this is normal. lol.
